Republic F.C. travels to North Carolina to face the Hammerheads F.C.

The Sacramento Republic F.C. will face the Wilmington Hammerheads F.C. Saturday evening at Legion Stadium. Kickoff for the game is scheduled for 4:30 PDT and it will be Sacramento's final USL Pro road game of the regular season. The Republic (16-6-3) defeated the Hammerheads (8-7-9) in their first meeting at Bonney Field 2-0 and is looking to sweep the two game series. Wilmington is in seventh place and is unbeaten in their last three games (2-0-1) since their loss to Sacramento including a victory against Orlando City.

Sacramento will be led by Rodrigo Lopez who scored two goals in their 3-1 victory over the Charleston Battery Wednesday night at Bonney Field giving him nine goals and eight assists for the season. The Hammerheads are led by forwards Samuel Ochoa (who has scored five goals and five assists) and Jordan Hamilton (five goals and two assists). The goalie play of Republic F.C.'s Jake Gleeson has been phenomenal by giving up only 1.04 goals a game, made over forty saves and has recorded four shutouts. Hammerheads' goalie Quillan Roberts is averaging 1.2 goals allowed per game but has recorded five shutouts and made thirty-seven saves so far this season so expect a lot of defense in this one.
