The Sacramento Republic F.C. with host the Wilmington Hammerheads this Wednesday night at Bonney Field with kick-off scheduled for 8:00 P.M. Sacramento (14-6-3) has clinched a postseason playoff spot with their win against the Orange County Blues F.C. Sunday and are looking to retain their current third seed whilst Wilmington (6-6-8) in in 12th place and is looking forward to next season. The Republic has only one more road game (against the Hammerheads on August 30th) and four more games at home. They are only four points behind the Richmond Kickers and two points ahead of the L.A. Galaxy II.

Tommy Stewart and Rodrigo Lopez are Sacramento's two headed monster attack and they're on a terror with twenty-three and twenty-two points respectively. Stewart's hat trick against the Blues gives him ten goals for the season followed by Lopez with seven and Adam Jahn's six. The Hammerheads are led by forwards Samuel Ochoa (four goals and five assists) and Jordan Hamilton (five goals and two assists). Wednesday night's game is looking forward to be a real barn burner.
