Sacramento Republic F.C. (6-3-1) will host the Arizona United S.C. (3-5-1) this Saturday in front of another packed house at Hughes Stadium. This will be the third sellout for the Republic F.C. as they host their final game in the old coliseum. The Republic will be moving into their new digs at Bonney Field located on the grounds of Cal Expo. 2014 has been a banner year for the young club as not only have they been very competitive on the field but they have been setting attendance records in the U.S.L. Pro League.
Sacramento not only hopes to avenge their earlier season loss to Arizona but they want to send the fans home happy with another victory. The United S.C. is looking to end the Republic's four game winning streak. Leading the Republic F.C. is Tommy Stewart with four goals and two assists whilst Arizona's top scorer is Brandon Swartzendruber with two goals and one assist. The United are also trying to end their three game losing streak and Sacramento is striving to keep their winning streak alive at five.
Tomorrow's game is sold out and there are no tickets available. The gates will open ninety minutes before the 7:30 P.M. scheduled kick-off. Fans are encouraged to either carpool or take mass transit due to heavy traffic to and from the stadium. Remember, there is no tailgating in the parking lot and no alcohol consumption on the grounds of Sacramento City College (except inside of Hughes Stadium). Parking is $10 and the lots will open at 5:30 P.M. For more information about the game, tickets for future games and general information about the team please visit http://www.sacrepublicfc.com.
