Sacramento Republic F.C. will host the West Bromwich Albion F.C. this Friday night at Bonney Field. This will be their second "friendly" between the two football clubs. The Republic lost the first matchup Monday night by the score of 1-0 in a very close and physical game. The "Baggies" are in the United States as part of an eleven day preseason trip that includes the "friendlies" with the Republic.

West Bromwich Albion F.C. haven't been stateside in over three years but this will be your last chance this season to see the English Premier League club in action. I was impressed by the way the Republic has been able to hang with both association football clubs (Rangers and Albion) during these past two friendlies. Sacramento players can only learn and benefit from this experience and the fans are getting to witness the fast and exciting play from these international footballers. The Baggies will return to England July 29th to face the Nuneaton Town F.C. in a preseason matchup.

Kick-off is scheduled for 7:30 P.M. and the gates will open at 6:30 P.M. Some tickets are available and they can be purchased at http://www.ticketmaster.com/sacramento-republic-fc-vs-west-bromwich-sacr... or at the Bonney Field box office which will open at 5:30 P.M. gameday.
