Late Tuesday, the celebrity blogosphere began buzzing following a report from Zimbio that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart attended the wedding of Matilda Sturridge, who is the sister of their friend Tom Sturridge. The buzz, according to the Hollywood rumor mill, is that Pattinson and Stewart were so inspired by the wedding that they eloped the day after.
This evening, representatives for both Pattinson and Stewart were not quoted by any major media outlet confirming - or denying - the reports.
Since January, we've been hearing that Rob and Kristen have been actively considering marriage. According to a report from MetrowNY, "it was even reported that Pattinson and Stewart had gotten engaged over the New Year holiday. That report could not be confirmed and is most likely not true. But, where there is smoke there is usually fire, so it is not far fetched to think that the couple has discussed getting married considering how long they have been together and how in love they seem to be."
Seeing other people get married can stir up feelings inside a person, especially if they are in love and have thought about a wedding of their own. Could this unusual public display of affection be tied to those types of feelings and a possible future marriage of their own?
In recent weeks, sources reportedly close to the couple say there's an excellent possibility that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will be married before Twilight: Breaking Dawn (part 1) is released in theaters November 18, 2011.
So, what do you think? Are Rob and Kristen already married... or are the vows yet to come?
