Reports of UFO at Chengdu Airport in China spread as new video surfaces

Update: It's a hoax. YouTube users recycled an earlier UFO video, gave it a new date, title, and location; and passed it off as a brand new UFO sighting. Read more here.

Earlier news reports said that a UFO spotted over Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport in China on January 5, 2012 caused flights to be diverted or canceled. Photos of the UFO show an exceptionally large and bright unidentified flying object over the airport. The UFO was seen high in the sky above the airport; pictures from China Telecom website 91town.com show several motionless airplanes on the ground beneath the UFO.

Now, there's a new video that shows an entirely new perspective on the UFO over Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport in China. While the first video of the UFO showed nothing more than a shiny reflection or light, this new video shows something much more shocking.

The new UFO video from sommersydnie, just nine seconds long, shows an unidentified flying object that looks like something you would see in a Hollywood movie. The UFO is shaped like a disc or flying saucer. It seems to hover motionless over what is presumably the Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport in China.

Sommersydnie is a YouTube video channel that has far more videos of adorable twin babies than UFOs. This seems to be the first time they posted a UFO video. Unfortunately, they don't specify any more details about the UFO sighting beyond the video title, "1.5.2012 UFO Land on the Earth - Shuangliu Airport Sichuan China." So far, no one has commented on this new UFO video. Your comments are welcome below.
