It appears as if Sting has finally signed with WWE.

Just days after one of the most iconic superstars in WWE history, the Ultimate Warrior, passes away, another icon has signed with the company. WrestleZone reported late on April 10, 2014, that "The Icon" known as Sting - real name Steve Borden - has officially and finally signed with WWE.

After months and years of rumors, speculation, and false reports, it seems as if Sting has finally put his name on a contract with WWE.

There are not a whole lot of details as to what Sting's contract entails and if it means he will ever actually wrestle for the company. It is said to include television time, but will it be in a non-wrestling role? There is also the question mark as to when he will make his official debut with WWE.

One of the biggest rumors over the years is that Sting would face the Undertaker at "WrestleMania" once he finally made it into the company. That is now in question after Undertaker's shocking loss to Brock Lesnar this past weekend at "WrestleMania XXX."

WWE has yet to officially announce this signing, but it has been said to have been confirmed by Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
