One report puts the gameplay for Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain prequel Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes at just two hours, according to a article today VG 24/7.

The folks over at Game Informer, as reported by Kotaku, reportedly say in their print preview of Ground Zeroes that the without venturing onto side stories and other content, the game’s main storyline takes just a couple hours to complete.

“Judged just by the core story mission, Ground Zeroes is short,” Game Informer said. “We completed it in just less than two hours.”

In a previous VG 24/7 report, Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima said that the prequel to Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is a “very short, smaller” interpretation of the game, though because of its non-linear characteristics players can play through the title however they wish.

In a separate report today, Kojima championed a similar sentiment, saying that he believes players will be satisfied with the playing time of Ground Zeroes.
