In an NFC Conference Championship game that was already documented with injuries, another 49ers player will have to undergo surgery.

Frank Gore was signing autographs at Lefty's Sports Cards memorabilia shop in Burlingame on Monday night. Via Twitter, it was announced he suffered a hand injury in Sunday's game and he will have surgery on Tuesday.

The 49ers running back was not available on Monday during the team's final meetings and locker clean out. Gore was on the field for 38 of the 55 snaps on offense against the Seattle Seahawks in a 23-17 loss. He finished the game with 14 yards off 11 carries on the ground, but made a season-saving catch-and-run for 17 yards.

Gore becomes the third 49ers player injured in the NFC Championship game. Mike Iupati suffered a broken ankle after a goal line collision during Anthony Dixon's touchdown which took him out for the game. NaVorro Bowman is believed to have torn both his ACL and MCL after a bad landing in the fourth quarter when trying to make a tackle and grab a live ball.

Ahmad Brooks will be the only 49ers Pro Bowler who will be participating in the 2014 Pro Bowl, according to Cam Inman. NaVorro Bowman, Joe Staley, Mike Iupati, Frank Gore, Patrick Willis, Vernon Davis and Justin Smith will not be making the trip to Hawaii.
