The NFL has fined Frank Gore $10,500 for wearing his socks too low during the NFC Championship Game, according to ESPN reporter Adam Schefter.
Gore had his socks at ankle level against the Falcons on Sunday. He had red legwarmers on, which slid down to his ankles during the game. The NFL has a policy where socks need to be pulled up to the knee level.
This is the second time Gore has been fined this year. He and Michael Crabtree were previously fined $10,500 for throwing a ball into the crowd against the Arizona Cardinals in the regular season finale.
Gore finished the NFC Championship game with 90 rushing yards and two touchdowns against the Falcons.
