After Tiger Woods and his ex-wife Elin Nordegren were recently seen together at a Fla. youth sporting event, rumors began to swirl that the couple was back together, despite reports the golfer is dating Lindsey Vonn.
According to a Mar. 1, 2013 Bossip report, the National Enquirer writes that Woods and Nordegren are back together and reunited at the request of their two young children—son Charlie, 4, and daughter Sam, 5.
A source told the Enquirer, “Tiger and Elin have been secretly discussing getting back together for several weeks.”
The insider continued, “the final straw came when Sam begged Elin, ‘Please Mommy, marry Daddy again! I want him home with us all the time!’”
According to the tabloid publication, the source said Nordegren was so moved by her daughter’s request she decided to give the relationship another go and has spent the night at Woods’ home several times.
Woods and Nordegren’s marriage entered a downward spiral in Nov. 2009 after an Enquirer article revealed the athlete had been unfaithful to his wife. Due to the report, a number of women came forward also claiming to have been intimate with the married golfer.
Woods has recently been romantically linked to Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn. After Vonn’s ski competition accident in Austria last month, Woods provided Vonn with his private jet so she could leave the country in style. Vonn has told the media she and Woods are just friends, while Woods’ camp has not yet commented on their alleged relationship.
