San Francisco 49ers reserve OL Daniel Kilgore was arrested on Wednesday, January 26 for public intoxication, according to Times News.

The incident happened in Kingsport Tennessee around 2:18 a.m., according to the police report.

Kingsport officer saw two males standing on the sidewalk and he stopped to speak with both of them. His report said he could smell a strong odor of alcohol. It also stated both men also had red eyes and dilated pupils.

After examining the two suspects, Lane determined both were too drunk to be in public. He arrested both suspects for public intoxication "for their safety and the welfare of the public." Brandon T. Thompson was the other man arrested.

Kilgore was a fifth-round pick of the 49ers in the 2011 draft class. He has been a reserve interior lineman who is capable of playing both guard and center. Kilgore has spent most of the past three seasons on special teams, but has been occasionally used in the team's jumbo package.

Last offseason, practice squad OL Al Netter was arrested for a DUI last February. In the 2012 offseason, Aldon Smith had a DUI and is also facing charges from a house party incident that year.
