The 49ers have signed six players to contracts on Tuesday afternoon which will be for the 2014 NFL season, according to Matt Maiocco.

Al Netter, Mike Purcell, Daxtson Swanson, Devon Wylie, Chuck Jacobs and Carter Bykowski will be under contract next season. Netter is the only player who spend at least two seasons with the 49ers. Bykowski was a seventh-round pick of the 49ers in 2013.

QB McLeod Bethel-Thompson left the Santa Clara without a contract after initially being claimed off the waivers last October. After being released, he was then signed to the practice squad.

The other practice squad player who is not under contract is RB Jewel Hampton. Initially signed as an undrafted free agent in 2012, he spent the end of the season on the 53-man roster, but was never active for a game. Hampton spent the full 2013 season on the practice squad.
