Philippine Congressman (Liberal Party, Sarangani Province) and boxing's pound-for-pound king Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao (51-3-2) is scheduled to visit Silliman University prior to leaving for the United States to promote an upcoming bout.

Silliman University is the country's first Protestant college as well as the first American private university in Asia, located in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, in the southwest region of the archipelago.
Rep. Pacquiao, a newly-elected lawmaker, will attend the 76th founding anniversary of the college's law school association on August 26th.
The anniversary theme of the Silliman University Law Alumni Association is "Law with Conscience."

Shortly thereafter, Congressman Pacquiao will leave for the U.S. to attend a multi-city tour to promote his upcoming bout with Mexico's Antonio "Tijuana Tornado" Margarito (38-6), a fight slated for November 13.
The bout is tentatively expected to take place at Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones' new Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. It could draw as many as 70,000 fans, which would break the largest U.S. indoor crowd for a boxing event. A fight held in Texas could draw in as many as between 30,000 to 40,000 from Hispanic fans alone.

The current U.S. indoor record is 63,350 spectators at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans in 1978 in a rematch bout between Muhammad Ali and Leon Spinks.
Spinks defeated Ali in their first meeting. Ali would announce his first retirement a year later.
Margarito stands considerably bigger at 5'11" with a 73" reach, against 5'6.5" and 67" reach for the once light flyweight "Pacman."
Both boxers will compete for the vacant WBC light middleweight title belt, which represents Pacquiao's eighth championship attempt in as many weight classes.
Manny Pacquiao currently and exclusively holds the record of having won seven belts in as many weight divisions.

I would higly recommend to Cong. Pacquiao to not only visit Silliman and other prominent Universities, but should pursue a law or political science degree for his own good and the people, especially if he's going to stay in politics for a long time, coz if he doesn't better himself to become knowledgeable of the law and politics, the grave consequences happened to Erap could possibly happened to him as well. Erap's lack of education and lack of understanstanding of the existing laws caused his own demised and the presidency. Erap's case should serve as a good lesson to all uneducated politicians.
