Reno Orvis offers free fly fishing 101 classes this spring

Have you ever wanted to learn how to fly fish or simply get a few pointers to take it to the next level? Well, come meet a lot of great people and book a spot in one of Reno Orvis' free fly fishing 101 classes this spring. Class dates are not set in stone yet, but look for them coming in April, May and June.

Now is your chance to learn fly fishing basics in one of our free fly fishing 101 classes. Free fishing lessons on fly casting and outfit rigging. Classes run in the early mornings on Saturdays and Sundays and once you've completed Fly Fishing 101, you're ready for the next step, Fly Fishing 201. Join Reno's Fly Fishing experts for a short outing on local water for a chance to catch your first fly-caught fish! Contact the Reno store for more information on the outing. FF201 Event Dates are also on Saturdays and Sundays, typically in late May or June.

Orvis' classes are the perfect to get started. Fly fishing is a sport the whole family can participate in and all ages are welcome to attend the event. Keep in mind, those under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Bring the whole family and learn what this great sport is all about.

Upon completion of the courses, you will receive a special in-store offers valid toward purchase of Orvis products and a Free Trout Unlimited membership (a $35 value). Federation of Fly Fishers is offering a free 1-year electronic membership, also valued at $35.
