As Reno fashion transitions from Fall to Holiday, the color palettes from brown, orange and turquoise and black, white and red are transitioning, too into traditional jewel tones and Bohemian muted tones. The traditional jewel tones are jade, sapphire, ruby and amethyst. When paired with black they look stunning and classic. The muted, Bohemian tones are soft rose, maroon and teal pulled together in casual sportswear looks.
Speaking of Bohemian, the textures in fashion are part of that look. You'll see lace paired with thick knits and denim. The layering of multi textures gives the casual look a lot of dimension. The prints of the Boho trend are paisley and Byzantine, a nod to the 70's that inspired this trend.
For a more sophisticated look, you'll see lots of animal prints in both dress and casual, knits and wovens. The leopards and zebras aren't leaving our wardrobes anytime soon, which is a good thing as the urban, two-tone pattern can add a lot of splash to any outfit.
Geometric prints, some Escher-esque, continue to liven up the prints of Holiday. You'll, also see some very colorful stained glass, and scarf prints on the selling floors.
For fun trends look for color block that can be very flattering when shape-defining. You'll also see some splashes of neon for the very brave. And moth-winged jackets for those who like to dress with a touch of drama. And not just for Holiday, anymore, you will see sparkle sprinkled throughout women's fashion. Don't be afraid to shine throughout the season!
