Renegades add two more losses to season record

The New Mexico Renegades fell to the Tulsa Rampage on both Saturday night and Sunday afternoon ending a winless weekend on the road.

Tulsa beat New Mexico by a score of 5-1 on Saturday night.  The Renegades scored only once in 18 shots on the Tulsa net while the Rampage was able to get five goals past New Mexico goaltender Herbert Kyles.  The Rampage skaters combined for 41 shots on goal.

Sunday afternoon's game showed similar results.  The Rampage outshot the Renegades 53 to 15 and netted nine goals.  New Mexico's DJ Pyle was the lone goal scorer for the Renegades on Sunday, assisted by Dan Bogdan.

New Mexico will be back home next weekend to take on the visiting Boulder Jr. Bison on January 15, 16 and 17.  Game time is 7:30 PM on Friday and Saturday nights and 2:30 PM on Sunday afternoon.  Tickets are available at the door at Blades Multiplex Arena in Rio Rancho.
