The Rendezvous on Riverview summer concert series returns tomorrow night. Started in 2009 with a grant from Polk County, the Highland, Oak, and Union Park neighborhood organizations worked together to create this family-oriented neighborhood concert series. Funds raised at the events remain in the area to support various community projects. The concert series will run every Friday night in June and July, plus the first Friday in August, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Due to renovations at the former site of Riverview Amusement Park, this year's events will be held on the former Clarkson School lot at 6th & Boston in Des Moines (just a few blocks north of North High School). The concerts are free and open to the public, and there will be a number of food and beverage options available for purchase. Des Moines country rock band Rebyl Road (featured video) will kick off this year's series tomorrow night. Here is a look at the full concert schedule for the 2014 Rendezvous on Riverview:

June 6 - Rebyl Road
June 13 - Bella Soul (pictured)
June 20 - Brother Trucker
June 27 - Hold On
July 4 - Backstage Boogie Band (fireworks to follow)
July 11 - Decoy
July 18 - Final Mix
July 25 - Faculty Lounge
