Removing the walls of gallery to bring Art Outside

From October 9th through the 11th, a community-based celebration of the arts will take place in Austin, Texas. Created by artists for artists and art patrons, this three-day festival provides a unique outdoor venue for artists of all medias to present the beauty of their work to the world. Art Outside aims to inspire new forms of creativity by removing the art from the static traditional walls of a gallery and transporting it into an organic backdrop of nature.

This year Art Outside is being organized by the Art Seen Alliance, a group of dedicated artists who, through blood, sweat, and tears, create a positive and creative space for all of you to experience. Before, during, and after the event, this dedicated group of artists come together for the sake of bringing art to the masses.

Tickets for the festival are $29 per day or $50 for a three day pass. Space is available for RV's while it lasts. RV rental space is $75 per vehicle, per day. Tickets may be purchased online or at the gate.

Art Outside 2009 will be held at a Apache Pass, a privately-owned, Hill Country ranch in a spectacular location Rockdale, TX (1hr 20min drive from Austin). The ranch features beautiful shady camping and RV park on the banks of the San Gabriel River, hiking trails, and a natural Outdoor Ampitheater.
