Remembering Maya Angelou

Former President Bill Clinton was one of her biggest admirers. Civil rights activist, author, poet, singer, actor and inspirational speaker Maya Angelou has died at the age of 86.

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Angelou leaves behind quite a legacy. She delivered an inaugural poem for Clinton in January of 1993 and played a role in "Roots."

Here is one of Angelou's most famous quotes: "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel."
