"Cure the CLAP"...what George Harrison is referring to is gonorrhea,
That was the so called hippy slang word is those days gone by.
George is saying "cue the clap" because they had cue cards that would tell the audience when to clap. he was basically having a laugh with that.
"Cure the CLAP"... hilarious comment. OK, cue the clap.
