Remembering former U.S. Surgeon General C. Everett Koop (Video)

Former U.S. Surgeon General C. Everett Koop died Monday, February 25, 2013 in New Hampshire at the age of 96. A former pipe smoker, Koop was known for speaking out against smoking and informing the public about AIDS. The cause of Koop's death has not yet been disclosed.

Koop served in the position during the Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush eras.
