Release the shackles

Psychic John Edwards offered this insight in his recent newsletter. “If you have thought about your circumstance, and where you are on your current line of probability in your life, than you know that you cannot change the history. But you can change your perspective about it, and that can shape and shift your future. Don’t be a victim of other people’s choices!”

His message is very much in line with previous articles I have shared.

We all have a past and many of us have experienced trauma. From this hardship we’ve learned, sometimes, unhealthy behaviors that are connected to faulty beliefs. This is toxic and it negatively affects our progress as functioning and healthy humans in the here and now.

Many times this past feels untouched seemingly dormant deep within but this darkness is very much alive, it slowly devours.

As a child you had no choice but to endure whatever environment your parents created. These circumstances were beyond your control. But today, as an adult, you have a choice. You can either be a prisoner of an unhealthy past that continues to stifle you or you can release the shackles and choose a healthier existence. This choice requires courage, focus and hard work. It is likely you will have to challenge your beliefs, dig deep into hurtful memories, and relearn behaviors to positively shape and energize your life today.

As John communicated, “…change your perspective about it, and that can shape and shift your future. Don’t be a victim of other people’s choices!” It is time to take ownership for your actions as this gives you control of your life. By doing this you are serving yourself a justice that can break the hold of any past injustice!
