Nike officially unveiled the Air Jordan 28 SE on Friday and is available now in 3 colorways at various retailers. The 28 SE does away with the very controversial shroud that populated much of the talk of the original Air Jordan 28 while retaining many of the same features such as the Jordan Flight Plate and Dynamic Fit.
The 3 colorways available now include the military-themed camo colorway that has been making rounds in sneaker blogs everywhere and the team shoes that will be worn by players on North Carolina and Georgetown during the upcoming college basketball season. Russell Westbrook will also be wearing the Air Jordan 28 SE when he returns from injury for the Oklahoma City Thunder. Expect to see Westbrook wear various player exclusives that will not see a retail release, although there will be a Thunder-themed colorway that will be available on October 23.
Here are the performance features of the Air Jordan 28 SE:
- Nike Zoom units in the heel and forefoot for responsive cushioning with a low-profile feel
- Dynamic Fit with straps and integrated laces for lightweight support that moves with the foot
- Midsole with Flight Plate technology for stability and support
- Multidirectional traction pattern for durability on the hardwood courts
The Air Jordan 28 is available now for $150.00 a pair at Nike.com and other retailers.
