Come out this Saturday night (Feb. 16th) and join San Jose, alt-rockers, Pantheon, as they celebrate the release of thier new album Overgrown. The Attic will serve as the venue for an evening that features 6 different area acts from San Jose and beyond.
Pantheon's most recent break came in the Summer of '11 when opened for '80s two-tone ska sensations, The English Beat. The band touts a tradional instrumentation of guitars, keyboads and drums. Pantheon self-describes as a post-rock, ambient act; a fitting description for their pliable yet forthright brand of sound. Lead vocalist/guitarist/keyboardist, Tom Watts, leads the charge with searing vocals and textured emissions lacing their array.
Also on the bill, the equal part electric/acoustic musings of Adventure Book, the emotional, anthemic foray of Conversions, the gritty yet seamless rock-edge of Stories in Braille and the jazz/rock inflection of Fossil Tree.
The all-ages event begins at 6 p.m., with beer and wine available to attendees of age.
