Passengers traveling on Amtrak can relax in the lounge before they board their train.

The Metropolitan Lounge at Los Angeles Union Station is open to passengers traveling on sleeping car long distance routes such as the Coast Starlight between Los Angeles and Seattle and the Southwest Chief between Los Angeles and Chicago.

Passengers traveling on a same-day business class Pacific Surfliner ticket can also use the Metropollitan Lounge.

Amtrak Guest Rewards Select Plus and Select Executive members can also use the lounge.

The Metropolitan Lounge offers free Wi-Fi, leather chairs and laptop desks, a snack area, and a conference room. The Metropolitan Lounge is open daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
