Reid posted a time of 1:40.60 to finish in third place. Reid, who qualified for the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi by finishing in sixth place at the women's World Cup last week in Calgary, beat Shelley Rudman of Great Britain by 0.14 seconds to get on to the podium.
American Noelle Pikus-Pace won the gold medal with a time of 1:39.54, followed by Elizabeth Yarnold of Great Britain with a time of 1:40.22. Pikus-Pace experienced redemption after being disqualified a week ago in Calgary for having tape on her sled.
