Rehab for McCready: Will the singer pull herself out of a downward spiral? (Video)

It looks like rehab for Mindy McCready. On Feb. 7, 2013, E Online reported that the "Ten Thousand Angels" singer's two sons, Zander, 6, and Zayne, 9 months, were taken away by the Department of Human Services and that a judge has ordered the 37-year-old country singer to a "treatment facility for a mental-health and alcohol-abuse evaluation." According to a source, McCready admitted to having "indulged in too much alcohol because she was still mourning David's passing."

Last month, on Jan. 13, David Wilson, McCready's boyfriend and father of Zayne, died of a reported self-inflicted gunshot wound. Although there are no suspects, the case is still under investigation. McCready denies any responsibility for the death.

The singer's unfortunate turn of events is horrible for anyone to go through. However, due to the problems the troubled singer has had before the death of her boyfriend, including substance abuse and domestic abuse, rehab could help Mindy pull herself out of a downward spiral and possibly fix her damaged career.
