The Navy SEAL Fitness Challenge is a series of physical fitness events consisting of individual tests of strength and endurance, including:
- 500-yard swim
- Push-ups (42 Seal standard/80 Seal competitive)
- Sit-ups (50 Seal standard/80 Seal competitive)
- Pull-ups (6 Seal standard/11 Seal competitive)
- 1.5 mile run

I did the SEAL Fitness Challenge in Dallas, TX on May 9th. This is a lot harder than it sounds, and my advice would be to really focus on your swimming. I didn't have access to a pool for training, and have never taken any form of swimming lessons. I did what I called a resistance band swim simulation on a stability ball at my gym. I simulated the breast stroke motion. I did this 3-4x week for about 5 wks in my training, in addition to working on push ups, pull ups, sit ups and increasing my car
