Where is Pearl, Idaho? A better question is, ‘Where was Pearl?’ Find out when you register for the High Desert Trail Run half marathon or 10K race on June 30.
Pearl, Idaho was a gold mining town in its heyday. Following the path of most gold rush towns, Pearl became a ghost town only to be flattened a few years ago. No buildings remain, but the original mine shafts can still be found. The road to Pearl offers a quiet race route for this high desert trail run.
The City of Trees Marathon Association and Les Bois Trail Running Association sponsor this race. Register here with Blue Circle Sports.
There is no time like the present to try your first trail run half marathon or 10K race. Explore the quiet of Idaho’s high desert, dodge wildlife along the route, think of the excitement that once was Pearl, and run the road less traveled! This examiner is going to be there!
