Register by Friday for the AMA Houston's Nonprofit Marketing seminar Tuesday, April 20

The deadline to register for the AMA Houston’s seminar, Best of Breed: Nonprofit Marketers Who Lead the Pack and Command a Following is this Friday, April 16 at noon. Attendees who register by the Friday deadline receive $10 discount off the fee paid at the door the day of the seminar.

The seminar on Tuesday, April 20 will showcase how several organizations have transformed stakeholders into brand evangelists. Attendees will hear from several leading organizations which have turned others into evangelists of their nonprofit 'good news.'

Topics to be covered include making internal constituents such as staff and volunteers into fanatic brand champions and showcasing campaigns that have garnered a powerful 'cult' following and that leveraged powerful stories of customers to drive the brand identity.

The seminar will be moderated by Suze LaForge of LaForge Consulting; with panelists:

  • Shannon Murray, Executive Director, MD Anderson Children's Art Project
  • Nikki Sparks, Senior Director of Communications, KSBJ Radio
  • Suzy Martin, Executive Director, Marketing and PR, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo

The event will be held at The United Way of Greater Houston, located at 50 Waugh Drive beginning at 7:30am.
