Regis and Kelly take a bite out of reality TV this Halloween.

Daytime hosts Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa themed their annual Halloween show around reality shows this year. Ripa was the highlight the show with her amazing skills of impersonation. Throughout the show she transformed not only her looks, but she captured the the voices and mannerisms of many of todays top reality stars.

Ripa started off in a scary realistic impression of Kate Gosselin along with Regis in a pretty good John Gosslein rendition himself. Not only did she have the awful hairstyle, she had the attitude to go with it.
The audience was in hysterics as she and Regis began to divide everything on the set 50-50 including a Halloween pumpkin.

She followed up her Kate Gosslein impression by flaunting her famous biceps in full Lady Gaga attire. Not to be out done Regis appeared in a “dead on” Got Talent star Susan Boyle impression complete with print dress and pearls.

In my opinion Ripa’s impersonation of fashion reality star Rachel Zoe was her best yet. She had every inflection of Zoe’s words down to an art. She even pulled off a perfect impression of Zoe’s assistant Taylor which was edited into the clip. Zoes nervous assistant Brad, was played flawlessly by bespectacled Philbin. Also fabulous was Producer Michael Gelman who captured the essence Zoe’s caring husband perfectly.

Of course the Halloween show would not be complete without Art Moore in drag. This year Moore appeared as Molly a contestant on the Bachelor, and as the winner of America’s next top model. But he out did himself with his hilarious impression of Kim from “ The Real housewives of Atlanta. Moore donned a long platinum blond fall as he lip synched to re-create Kim’s recording session for her new single “Tardy for the party”.

They also recreated the now famous cat fight /table tipping scene of Real Housewives of New Jersey, The biggest Loser and a live version of judging ala Dancing with the stars. Ripa played judge Bruno, Regis played Len and Carrie Ann as herself. In true Bruno Fashion Ripa said she wanted to “make love” to everyone. The whole cast also performed a hilarious rendition of Beyonce’s famous videoPut a ring on it”

As Ripa has shown over the years her talent knows no bounds which she proved in her tribute to the King of Pop Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”. Ripa who has had little dance training seems to be able to pick up the moves every time. It’s hard to imagine how this dynamic performer has not been asked to compete on “Dancing with the Stars”. Also I cannot imagine why "Saturday Night Live" has seemed to overlook her amazing impressionist talents. I for one will be watching for Ripa’s star to continue to rise to new heights.
