Reese Witherspoon has changed her hair color from blonde bombshell to beautiful brown for an upcoming movie role, according to Us Weekly.
The “Legally Blonde” actress was recently spotted in Tennessee returning from a birthday vacation with her family sporting a new brunette celebrity hairstyle, apparently for the film, “The Good Lie,” set during the Sudanese civil war.
Reese Witherspoon hasn’t donned brunette hair color since her Academy Award winning role in “Walk the Line” and while brown shades flatter many, blonde is her hue, especially after the extremely glamorous old-Hollywood hairstyle she wore on her recent trek down Oscar’s red carpet.
Reese reportedly enjoyed her previous hair color change, telling reporters at the Venice Film Festival in 2004 the darker hair gave the celebrity a feeling of anonymity, a slight “reprieve from her normal self.”
With the all-American looks Reese Witherspoon was blessed with, the mother of three can pull off any hair color, blonde or brunette, even if she is most famous for her golden locks.
When considering changing colors dramatically from blonde to brunette or back again, as is the case with Reese Witherspoon, it is always preferable to have the hair dyed by a licensed professional in a salon. For recommendations on Long Island, you may email the author at the address below.
