Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson discuss 'Water For Elephants'

Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon had an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight last night where they discussed their roles in their upcoming movie 'Water For Elephants'. The movie stars Robert Pattinson, Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz. The movie will be released on April 22, 2011.

The movie ‘Water for Elephants‘ is based on the novel with the same name by Sara Gruen. Publishers Weekly gives us a summary plot of the book on Amazon.com and says:

“The novel, told in flashback by nonagenarian Jacob Jankowski, recounts the wild and wonderful period he spent with the Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular Show on Earth, a traveling circus he joined during the Great Depression. When 23-year-old Jankowski learns that his parents have been killed in a car crash, leaving him penniless, he drops out of Cornell veterinary school and parlays his expertise with animals into a job with the circus, where he cares for a menagerie of exotic creatures[...] He also falls in love with Marlena, one of the show’s star performers—a romance complicated by Marlena’s husband, the unbalanced, sadistic circus boss who beats both his wife and the animals Jankowski cares for.”

Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon discussed the movie and their roles and both seemed to have a great time making the movie. Reese Witherspoon said about Robert Pattinson that " he is wonderful, sweet, and the nicest guy and so good looking. He makes me laugh, we just have a great time, he is so spacey sometimes."

When asked about the love scenes Robert Pattinson said that they weren't really romantic because he always got beat up afterwards. Aw. Poor Robert Pattinson. Sounds like it will be a good film.
