Reduce missed workouts by adding cross training to regiment

It’s easy to become distracted with the pressures of work, parenting or completing college.

For the average adult it can be time consuming and sometimes overwhelming that you miss a scheduled workout due to an unexpected overload at work or school.

Try adding a cross training workout on selected days that are extremely long that may cause you to miss a routine workout.

Some ways to combat a missed workout is to either exercise during a lunch break or at your workplace.

It’s convenient and it will allow you to continue to reach for your fitness goals.

Try a short 20-to- 30-minute workout before or after lunch. Notice a boost of energy or stress level reducing by participating in a cross training exercise such as a bike ride, jogging, power walk, swim, or taking a yoga class at local gym or studio.

After all a busy work schedule can be stressful, finding time to work out shouldn’t be.
