The Cincinnati Reds signed ten players to minor league deals including former Yankees ace Chien-Ming Wang and fan-favorite Corky Miller, with all ten receiving invitations to Spring Training.

Wang is one of three pitchers signed by the Reds and brings the most experience of the group. He posted back-to-back 19 win seasons in 2006 and 2007, but has struggled to stay healthy and produce the same results since for the Yankees, Nationals, and Blue Jays. Cincinnati also signed Jose Diaz, who last appeared in the Majors on July, 12, 2008 with Texas. The Reds re-signed lefty Lee Hyde who posted a 0.00 ERA in 13 games with the Louisville Bats in 2013.

Miller leads a trio of catchers the Reds inked. He appeared in his first MLB game since the season finale of the 2010 season thanks to an injury to Ryan Hanigan. He played in 17 games and drove in eight runs while hitting .257. Cincinnati traded Hanigan this offseason, but brought in Brayan Pena to fill the Reds backup role, leaving Miller as the odd man out once again.

Rossmel Perez comes over from the Diamondbacks farm system while Max Ramirez hopes to log his first big league game since appearing with the Texas Rangers back in 2010.

The Reds also bring in former Pirate and Toledo Mud Hen infielder Argenis Diaz and Reynaldo Navarro from the Kansas City farm system. Kristopher Negron hopes for a return to the "Queen City" where he made his MLB debut for the Reds in 2012, but spent last year in Louisville.

Cincinnati added just one outfielder in speedster, Jason Bourgeois. The Reds will be the sixth organization that he has been a part of since 2008. He does have some experience at Great American Ballpark as he played in 162 games for the Astros from 2010-2011.

Spring Training is just around the corner as pitchers and catchers report on Valentine's Day.
