Redhawks women edge Utah Valley 2:1 for fourth straight win (photos)

The Seattle University Redhawks women edged Utah Valley 2:1 on Wednesday at Championship Field. The Redhawks are now 8-4 on the season after their fourth straight win.

"I continue to be impressed by the resiliency of my team when we go down by a goal," head coach Julie Woodward told GoSeattleU.com. "We got some good looks at the goal, but we need to be more opportunistic in those situations. I am not pleased with the overall performance, but sometimes you get away with a win when not playing at your best."

Kara Kuttler and Kassandra Riozzi scored the Redhawks' goals.

Dale Garvey was at the match and shares some photos with us in the featured slide show.
