Albuquerque (67-61) is now five games behind Oklahoma City (72-56) with three more games remaining in the series.
The Isotopes led briefly when Matt Angle scored in the first inning. He drew a leadoff walk, advanced to second on a wild pitch and then to third on a sacrifice bunt. Angle scored on a fielding error by shortstop Jimmy Paredes.
The RedHawks came back in the fourth when Paredes hit a two-out single through the right side. Che-Hsuan Lin then singled and both runners moved up on a wild pitch. Carlos Perez followed with a two-run double and Ruben Sosa added an RBI single to make it 3-1.
Oklahoma City tacked on two more runs in the eighth.
Chili Buss and Eliezer Alfonzo both went 2-for-4, the only Albuquerque players with base hits.
Paul Clemens (3-1) earned the win for Oklahoma City as he allowed just the one unearned run while striking out six batters in 6.2 innings.
Angel Castro (8-4) gave up three runs in six innings to take the loss.
