After his lackluster performance for the last two weeks, Carlito Olivero finally received a positive reaction from Simon Cowell in last night's performance of his rendition of The Rolling Stones' "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction." Simons thought the staging was sensational.

Kelly Rowland joined in the praise for Carlito stating it was a setup from last week. However, Rowland did add, "I still feel there is something missing from your performance. You have such star quality. I'm a fan. I want you to come up here and nail it."

Backstage, Carlito spoke to this writer's affiliate Chris Trondsen of Front Row Features Wire / Pacific Rim Video. Trondsen asked if Olivero would take the judges comments of making his future performances more sexy and more latin, "Oh yes! Definitely. It's crazy that they said that because that's what I want to do for next week. I actually wanted to do that every single week but there's a part of me that has been afraid to sing in spanish and english. I don't think the crowd would've liked the song. I didn't want to lose America for the half that didn't speak spanish."

We'll see if Carlito returns next week as "The X Factor" will eliminate two more contestants in tonight's show airing on Fox at on 8pm/7pm central.
