Previous pronouncements notwithstanding, the winner of the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge will be announced on Aug. 11 at the Sturgis Bike Week rally, according to organizer Big Jim Redcloud. This information came from a report today by KBBI Radio News Director Aaron Selbig. Selbig's entire report can be heard online.

The Hoka Hey was a long-distance endurance motorcycle race that began June 20 in Key West, FL, and ended in Homer, AK.

The KBBI report said Redcloud told them the top four finishers would be given polygraph tests later this week by the FBI, and that the winner must also pass a hair-follicle drug test, to be administered at the hospital in Homer, "to make sure they did not cheat along the way." Redcloud reportedly said they would go through 25 riders if necessary to find a winner.

Skeptics who have claimed from the beginning that the entire event is a fraud scoffed at the idea that the FBI would be in any way involved in determining the winner.

Selbig also reported that "Redcloud says any Hoka Hey rider who was dissatisfied with the challenge in any way can returrn the gold Hoka Hey coin they received at the beginning of the race in exchange for their $1,000 entrance fee."

August 11th, huh? Change of venue, huh? That oughta give Red Cloud the time and space he needs to disappear.

    I hope I'm wrong.

I'd like to see how many take Red Cloud up on the offer to exchange their gold coin for a $1,000 refund. I bet they don't get it.

Does anyone really believe the FBI would be willing to give a polygraph test to as many riders as Big Jim wants or even one rider. Ken have you called the Alaska FBI to Confirm his claim. No one is going to turn in their coin in on the off chance they may be a winner. The same as none of the riders are really going to talk and say what they may want to really say because of the clause in the waiver they signed about talking to the press.

So So So Sad for all of the innocent people who believed in something that could have been so special not only personally but spiritually and someone like this Red Cloud guy, for his own personal gain turned it into this hateful mess. I wish you could all see that this is what a sociopath does best..... He creates turmoil between people, loved ones, neighbors, religions, families, friends and even stranger, as he has done with so many of you on the blogs and postings.. Then he walks away with no remorse and goes on to lie and cheat the next innocent person that will listen to his made up story as he leaves you with anger and hate in your heart. Typical Sociopath..

Rumors/questions are still arising for the well being of all the riders. Durham hasn't coughed over a list to my knowedge. Law enforcement should be getting on this. Condolences to the families and friends of Chuck Lynn and Ken Green. Speedy recovery to all injured

after all the smoke clears, there will be one individual to fight for a just end. one individual to try to get justice, and the rest will have long disapeared into the afternoon's sun, one person to say "WHERE IS THE BEEF?"

Surprise, surprise, surprise, SHAZAM!!! Where is Gomer Pyle when you need him? If this does indeed turn out to be a scam, I'm hoping that Mr. Jim gets a little bit of "biker" justice.

For those riders who had to make extraordinary plans and sacrifice jobs and time with families only to be (probably) taken advantage of, this is a great shame.
