Red wine sauce can be used by professional chefs to every day kitchen rookies. It is super easy to make and a classy touch to any dinner. The number one rule with cooking with any wine, only cook with wine that you like. If you don't like the wine, then you are not going to like the food you cook with the wine.


Red wine
stock, beef, chicken or vegetable
Herbs and spices ( use your favorite kind )


Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in a sauce pan on low heat

Add 3 tablespoons of flour after the butter melts

Add 1 cup of red wine to the butter and flour mixture

Add 1 cup of stock, stir until the sauce reaches a creamy consistency

Add Herbs and spices ( use your favorite kind )

Let cool and enjoy
