In conjunction with the Martin Luther King Jr holiday, Tuskegee University the birthplace of the famous fighter pilots will hold several screenings of the action-adventure movie Red Tails with an appearance by several cast members this weekend at the historic campus. According to a press release from the school, the festivities will kickoff on Saturday January 14 with shuttle bus tours of the Tuskegee Airmen site at 10 a-m followed by a Red Tails block party and cookout from 3 pm to 5 pm. The movie will then be screened twice on Sunday January 15 at 5 pm and at 8 pm at the Kellogg Conference Center Auditorium on campus.

On Monday January 16, the MLK holiday, there will be a 9:30 am screening of the film followed by a 12:30 p-m MLK convocation which will feature stars Terrence Howard, Nate Parker, David Oyelowo, Tristan Wilds, Elijah Kelly, Red Tails director Anthony Hemingway and the surviving members of the Tuskegee Airmen.

The movie will be screened again at 2:30 pm, with star radio personality Tom Joyner who is a graduate of Tuskegee University moderating a panel discussion with the cast after the screening. If you can’t make it to the early screenings on Monday, the school will hold a later screening of Red Tails at 6:30 pm.
