Designer Jill Stuart presented her Fall 2013 collection in a stunning fashion show for New York Fashion Week at Lincoln Center on February 9, 2013 in New York City.
This is a stunning eveningwear collection that would’ve been perfect for Valentines Day. In fact, some of the best pieces in this Jill Stuart Fall 2013 collection are rendered in shades of red.
A particularly lovely ruby red floral number – perfect for Valentine’s Day – has off-shoulder sleeves, a full flounced mini skirt and a floral choker for the neckline. The floral fantasy is teamed with candy apple red pumps with double ankle straps. It’s also available in a deep plum.
Another burgundy red cocktail dress has pretty leaf designs lasered out on the bodice and the skirt, while another burgundy and cream striped dress has a chevron design on the bodice.
More stripes in a lovely black and cream number with a flared skirt and long sleeves. The spotted black and white dress is equally cute! Though it may need a camisole underneath…
Jill Stuart’s cuddly rust colored faux fur coat just above the knee is also a possibility as is her capelike black coat.
Stuart’s pumpkin spice hued flared dress with elbow-length puffed sleeves is just as delicious!
There are also some very wearable suits and separates in neutral black, paired with crisp white shirts. A pointelle style black knit top is a favorite of yours truly and teams well with her lasercut pieces. The gauzy black dress with gold leaves is another favorite in all is 1980s glory!
