It’s about the hair, and the music, and Cabo. The rumors, the backstage brawls and the beachside feasts, well, that comes with the package of what makes up the savvy businessman, restaurant owner and rock icon Sammy Hagar, and he’s spilling all in his latest endeavor.

In his new book “Red: My Uncensored Life in Rock” (It Books, $26.00) lays bare his decades of decadence in an unfiltered and touching tome that has the rock world rumbling.

“Sammy’s no bullsh*tter. If Sammy says it happened, it did. There’s nobody else anywhere like him,” said band mate Michael Anthony.

The Cabo Wabo Cantina owner also shows fans his obvious off-stage passion, food and good drink.

“Over the many years I’ve known Sammy, his Red Rocker passion in music has always inspired me. But it’s also his love of cooking great food and sharing a good bottle of wine that has been at the core of our friendship for so long,” said friend and chef Emeril Lagasse.

Hagar also dips into the dark side of his rock days, with snippets about fellow raucous band mate Eddie Van Halen’s drinking as well as some light anecdotes from his own rock history and that of Van Halen’s.

The Red Rocker goes so far as to reveal some inside info on the break up between the band and the exuberant David Lee Roth, which occurred nearly a decade before Hagar steered the group into its successful, chart-topping ‘80s period.

Sammy Hagar’s Cabo Wabo Cantina at Miracle Mile Shops inside Planet Hollywood is a favorite for Las Vegas locals, as well as celebrities. Most recently, Paris Hilton skipped the big nightclubs to party at the hot spot with her gal pal posse The heiress and current Clark County probation starlet popped in to Sammy Hagar's Cabo Wabo Cantina with Allison Melnik and three friends, were seen laughing and enjoying a round of Cabo Wabo's signature "Vita Loca" frozen daiquiris. While the girls chatted about the filming of Hilton's new documentary series set to air on Oxygen channel, Hilton also savored her newest purchase - a decked out Champagne Stick Couture Pop from Sugar Factory, also located in Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood. Hilton later attended a midnight red carpet at Pure at Caesars Palace. Hilton is on probation for her August 28 arrest for cocaine possession.
