Red Robin receipt for pregnant woman comped by generous manager

A Red Robin receipt for a pregnant woman was comped by a generous manager in North Carolina when she and her husband were out for dinner, The Consumerist reported Jan. 7.

Jason took his very pregnant wife and two-year-old son out for dinner at the restaurant and talked to the manager when he went to their table.

“Once seated, a manager came up to us and started talking,” Jason said. “He was extremely friendly and jokingly asked my wife if this was her last meal before heading to the hospital.”

The manager went on on his way after the friendly conversation with his customers. When the couple got their receipt, they saw a deduction of $11.50 along with a nice message on their bill reading, “MOM 2 BEE GOOD LUC.”

“It was a pleasant surprise and made my tired of being pregnant wife a little more cheery,” Jason said.

In a trend full of negative headlines regarding bills with offensive or insulting messages written on them, this one about a Red Robin receipt for a pregnant woman being comped is a refreshing change. There's no doubt the manager of this Red Robin restaurant will be comped in some way for his good gesture.
