Northwest Film Forum's Spring showcase, Red Renewal, kicks off tomorrow (March 18) with a discussion at Town Hall, but the real fun starts with the movie screenings on March 21.

According to their website, "With Red Renewal: Seattle’s Socialist Spring, Northwest Film Forum opens our cinemas for collective contemplation of the 2014 spring fever: sparked by solidarity but marked by uncertainty, as Seattleites debate what the future should hold."

The series is chock full of partnerships, another sign of the organization's desire to make the whole event a conversation.

Check out the full program here, and expect everything from the crass to the poetic. And get a load of the eye-catching poster on a telephone pole near you.
