Is Lil Kim beefing with Nicki Minaj in an attempt to become relevant again? Personally, I think Lil Kim is on her high horse and feels that she is the only one who deserves the title "Best Female Rapper". Nicki Minaj has made it further than Lil Kim in her short amount time, and that’s what seems to be annoying Lil Kim. So overall, Lil Kim is not doing it to be relevant, she is doing it because she doesn't want someone else to take her “crown.”
