On Feb. 25 the official lineup was announced for Metallica's Orion Music + More Festival and the headliners include Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rise Against, Deftones and Bassnectar. The 2013 Orion Music + More Festival will take place at Belle Isle in Detroit on June 8 and 9. You can view the complete lineup below.
"Last year's Orion Music + More Festival was hands down the highlight of the Metallica calendar. A great time was had by all, especially the band members," said Lars Ulrich in an issued press release.
At the 2013 Orion Music + More Festival there will be more than 30 bands across five live music stages plus a lifestyle element that reflects each of Metallica's band members many personal interests. Some of the other bands set to perform includes Dropkick Murphys, Silversun Pickups, Foals, and Gogol Bordello.
