Red Hot Chili Peppers and Aliens?

The other day I was listening to the radio when I noticed the last few lyrics of a song I have heard countless times. Here is the last section of the song "Can't Stop" by the band Red Hot Chili Peppers:

Kick start the golden generator
Sweet talk, but don't intimidate her
Can't stop the gods from engineering
Feel no need for any interfering
Your image in the dictionary
This life is more than ordinary
Can I get 2 maybe even 3 of these
Come from space
To teach you of the Pleiades
Can't stop the spirits when they need you
This life is more than just a read-through

If you have not heard of the Pleiades Star Cluster...

"The Pleiades star cluster – also known as the Seven Sisters or M45 – is visible from virtually every place that humanity inhabits Earth’s globe. It can be seen from as far north as the north pole, and farther south than the southernmost tip of South America. It looks like a tiny misty dipper of stars."

So what in the world are the Red Hot Chili Peppers talking about in this section of the song? Just in case you have not heard of the theory of the Pleiadians:

They are supposedly aliens, big surprise there, but it raises my eyebrow. Why would a music band know about this kind of stuff? What are the lyrics referring to exactly? And why put this in your song to begin with? The song in its entirety is kinda nuts, but this takes the cake.

What about that Golden Generator mentioned in the song? The only concrete thing I was able to pull up was some guy who made a power generator out of gold. I am certain this is not what the song is referring to, but perhaps it is somehow related.

So what do the band members of the Red Hot Chili Peppers know about the Pleiades Star Cluster? Why even mention that in a song in an out-of-place manner? What exactly is this Golden Generator they are referring to? Ask with any questions worth asking, the answers always lead to at least two more questions.
