"Everything we do always starts with who the guest is for Target. We are always thinking about what she loves, wants, and what we have not done in the past. Innovation is a core part of what Target is, and when you combine what we know about our guest and what we think about innovation it leads us to someone like Prabal," Target exec Jeff Jones told Examiner.com.

Prabal Gurung
Q: Describe the collection and the inspiration behind it?
Prabal Gurung: Love, celebration of women, the city that I love and the reason why I am here. The love and the support of the industry.
Q: Did you time it for Valentine's Day?
Prabal Gurung: I thought about this collection years ago and I wanted to create a moment like this and it is great to be able to make a line about love.
Q: What is on your career's bucket list? Something that you definitely want to do in the future?
Prabal Gurung: I have just started four years ago. I have a long way to go. I feel as if I just started crawling. If you look at designers that have been around for fifty years, 20 ,30 years and that's inspiring. I just want to be around.
Q: Who are the designers you look up to?
Prabal Gurung: I always looked up to Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Oscar, Carolina Herrera my mentor....I love that they just do their own thing.
Less than 24-hours after the carnival-themed Prabal Gurung for Target launch event in NYC last night, Zoe Saldana was one of the first to be spotted rocking the new Prabal Gurung for Target collection! Saldana was seen yesterday in L.A. wearing the chic, fun and affordable Prabal Gurung for Target Sweatshirt in First Date Print ($29.99) – hitting Target stores and Target.com this Sunday, Feb. 10. Saldana is one of Prabal Gurung’s biggest fans/supporters and a huge fan of Target as she attended the Neiman Marcus and Target launch event party back in November.
Chris Conroy stars in the Prabal for Target ad campaign.
Q: What does fashion mean to you? Is it the first time you have been involved in a campaign like this?
Chris Conroy: Oh yes. I am a simple blue collar kid who moved here from outside Pittsburgh to pursue my dream and so fashion is great especially this is really a film if you check out the commercial and it is great that fashion and cinema can come together to become one. It is really well done and I am honored to be part of it.
Q: Can you share any fun facts from the shoot?
Chris Conroy: Oh yeah, we shot during the hurricane. Shot one day before the hurricane and than we were all worried that we weren't going to be able to finish it. The trains were not running, but we got it together and finished it few days later. I am a type of person that likes see things through the end!
Isabelle Fuhrman wore a red dress for the collection. She starred in "The Hunger Games."
Q: Can you share any upcoming projects?
Isabelle Fuhrman: I have a movie called "After Earth" that's coming out in June with Will and Jaden Smith and I directed a video "Something Beautiful."
Q: What are your plans for fashion week?
Isabelle Fuhrman: I am going to see Christian Siriano, Jason Wu and the Bravo show. I am excited about all the models, clothes...
